He stands ready to fight
One man totally alone
Already his hands are red
Covered in the drying blood
Of his slaughtered enemies
He never wanted
It to come to this
To become the monster
People assume him to be
But he fights to protect his love
The city lays behind him
Smoke rises from its ruins
The once great Kingdom
Is now a hunting ground
For Death himself
The Reaper roams the streets
Death has come to all
But he fights to save one
Who still lives within
The broken city walls
The darkness shifts before him
Weapons gleam in the moonlight
His battle begins once more
As the Harbingers of Hate
Take to the fight once again
It has come to this now
Cold steals over him
As the Reaper comes near
He knows she has gone before him
Everything he holds dear is gone
His knees fail him finally
Death is before him now
The sword falls to the ground
His enemies have won
The city is truely lost
