A creature of darkness He hides from light It is his destiny To live the longest night
Hunger consumes him Like a burning fire He can never escape it This sign of his damnation
His skin marble, cold as fallen snow Silk beneath trailing fingertips The rise and fall of breath No longer necessary
Grace was taken from him By forces beyond his control Once a mortal man He will now live forever more

Very reminiscent of Lucifer's fall from grace, but more towards someone else. Very dark. I like it.

Thank you.
I was thinking more about vampiric hunger and the turning of a mortal into a creature of never ending night but Lucifer would work as well. It works very well in concert with Civil war.

Well, now that you say that, I can see the vampiric angle.
