The Gods weep tears Of crimson rain falling To a scorched and blackened Earth All human life is many years gone
Dark demons roam free Caring not about the once bright sun For it shines no more And holds no sway over them
No grass or trees Distract from the skies Those once immortal lie dying
Wings rise in the wind As swords clash with shields Those of the now exiled faith Return to ashes and dust
As the angels of light battle Their kindred from long ago All fall under the crashing blows No one wins in this Civil War
The end has finally come Light in the end of all fails Forever shall the darkness reign Hell on Earth has come

This poem really speaks to me. It truly brings to light the cruelty and malice people can cause each other. Though we don't often think about it, we are always in a civil war with ourselves and others. Bravo, Jordan
